“And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.”
Act 12:8 (KJV).*
King Herod took Peter and when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. (vs 4,5). Angel of God appeared to Peter at midnight and Peter followed every single instruction given to him by angel for his deliverance from prison.
Series of instruction has been passed to many so called Christian but failed to follow them “Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.” (Prov 19:27). The instruction given to us are not to harm us but to make us charming.
Following every instruction of the Lord for our lives has a greater rewards in await for us “And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes…(Ex 15:26)
Every destiny and assignment to be fulfilled has its own particular instructions to follow. Instructions are being given one at a step and not all at a step, make up your mind today to know and follow every instructions for your life that your glorious destiny can be fulfilled just like;
- *ABRAHAM* –“So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.” (Gen 12:4)
- *PETER* –“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Mat 4:19)
- *SAUL* –“And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.” (1 Sam 10:9)
LORD, cause me to diligently follow and observe every of your instructions for my life in Jesus’ name.
