Abandonment is where something is left uncompleted as a result of your will or attitude. It is an internal thing. Most times it occurs as a result of distraction from your goal. It could be as a result of unwholesome friends that breaks or altar your focus on the project, laziness or complacency, lack of sense of timing or not being mindful of the giver of the assignment. When God tells you to do something, He want to get involved and help you to finish it. Everything that God starts He finishes. There is no abortion or abandonment or frustration with God. If God is your father and you are His offspring, your case must be the same as God. God has given you power to finish all that He orders you to start. If you start what God has not order you to start it may not withstand the test of time or opposition. If God leads you to start a project, He wants it completed and not abandoned.

To be able to overcome abandonment you must make sure it is God that is leading you to start such a project. You must also carry Him along as you continue by being obedience to His instructions along the line. Also you must be discipline because God is a discipline God. He will take you along the Disciple-Line of discipline to accomplish the project.  More so you must understand that everything you need to finish the assignment God has given you has been made ready before God brought the assignment. The only way you can harness this divine provision is by walking in obedience to His Instruction and taking yourself serious with the assignment. Is there any abandonment project in your life not orchestrated by God? Take some time to think about your life and get ready to rise up to finish the project God has given unto you. It’s you assignment, rise and finish it. May the grace to finish well rest upon you today in Jesus name. Be like Jesus who said it is FINISHED.
